Older adults are frequently targeted for various forms of fraud, ranging from deceptive phone calls and phishing emails to sophisticated investment schemes and even identity theft. Sergeant C.D. Ammons, public information officer with the Staunton Police Department will discuss the most common types of fraud, how to identify a scam, steps to avoid becoming a victim of fraud and what to do if you suspect you have been.
